It is Sunday. The moon is in perigee, the Earth has returned, and all is relatively calm. After one weekend off recording, I’m back on the erm, horse?, this weekend with Song 7. Those First Rays are Brave. I tried to make it sound more postpunk/goth than my previous (or maybe more like REM? The moon cannot tell), with a faster beat and more variation in the drums.
I already know what I’ll do differently for the final version (kinda), but I’m happy with the demo. The beginning is bad. Why are beginnings so hard?

Like most of these songs, this is played on 7-string guitar in B standard, and 4 string bass in E standard. Drums are programmed with effects. Lyrics are written and rewritten and revised (and still not right). Singings are poor. Hehe. I love it still.
