Here’s a “BeatBuddy version” of a new song I’m working on, called Simulation B. The closest drum setting I could find on it to the demo recording (see below) is “Ballad 1”, which is hilarious. But it passes as a practice backing track. Too much shredding in this one for effect foot fills (I’ll work on that). It’s in my iamthemoon patented A-E-B-F#-C#-F# tuning, like a lot of my recent songs.
Here’s the demo recording I made before I succumbed to ze virus:
I think the final will have bass and a better ending. Endings are hard.
Lyrics:
Life is a game, winner takes it all. Losing is shame, its about the individual. We’re just apes, living in a zoo. Some see the cage, others just consume. And although its free, it costs dignity. You don’t pay to play, you’re the commodity. You’re the user, so get ready to be used. They’re the predators, and you are just the food. Just cheat and steal, then make the appeal. Winning the game is the only thing you feel. Your head is numb, cos what you were told is wrong. One isn’t enough, so you buy another one. Life is a game, winner takes it all. Losing is shame, its about the individual. We’re just apes, living in a zoo. Some see the cage, others just consume. You're the user, so get ready to be used. Winner takes it all, its about the individual. Some see the cage, others have keys. Some see the fake, most of us are asleep. And although its free, it costs dignity. You don’t pay to play, you’re the commodity.
I’m wearing my SikTh t-shirt. Legendary band. One of my first metal loves, back when they were first starting out.
