That was me playing the rhythm guitar part (and my vocal part) of the Traveller song, “Kenaz”. The drum is coming from my beatbuddy pedal and is playing through a separate amp to the guitar.
This is our most simple and shortest track. Our ‘opener’.
Keeeeenaz!
We’re gearing up for a live performance of a few songs. I’m trying to figure out how much we (2 people) can do live versus a backing track.
As I mentioned in a previous post, we’ve quite a few songs already. We figure it would be best to start with the simpler songs before we’re ready to perform our long technical prog-metal masterpieces :)
Here are 2 more Traveller songs with really simple rhythm guitar parts. The guitar is coming through an amp and sounds a lot better in the room. My bandmate raVen is providing the words and vocal on these. These songs are designed to support the poetry, help focus on the words, not steal the limelight, so they are simple and repetitive.
Flight Yearning
On this one, the vocal, drum, bass and lead guitar being played on a backing track. I need to come up with a better ending, because the recorded version just fades out.
Death Lodge
(Fun to play back at 2x speed)
